Join the wait-list to become a Kelper.

Join the wait-list to become a “Kelper”, one of our community monitoring superstars. The Kelpers will be helping track the progress of our out-planted seaweeds at restoration sites this Winter. You need to be:

  • A certified Free-diver

  • Have your own winter-suitable free-dive equipment

  • Available through the winter and on weekends

  • Have an interest/background in marine science and community projects

We’ll get you upskilled in seaweed IDing and monitoring methods and anything else needed to turn you into a thriving Kelper. So come get involved with this innovative restoration project in the heart of Te Whanganui-a-Tara and help us save our declining seaweed forests.

Email below to join the wait-list and we'll be in touch when our next training programme is underway.
